Ways you can get involved

  • The education committee is identifying prominent invasives on city or public properties. We hope to build relationships to remove and replace these invasives and educate the community. Where have you seen prominent invasives on public properties?
  • Help us assess local retailers-- are they selling natives? invasives?  Make a special trip or let us know after you've been at a location using this form.  We'll use this data to identify retailers we want to start forming relationships with to help them get signed up for the Grow Indiana Natives program and offer other support.
  • The Strike Team is scheduling more workdays.  Volunteering with the ST is a great hands-on way to make a big impact in a short period of time.
  • Volunteers can survey for invasive species and input data into our new FieldMaps system.  HIP can offer training to get you started!

To be involved with any of these projects, email
